My letter from…

November 18, 2009 by trance setters

2 weeks ago I rec’d a piece of mail that I recognized because the handwriting on the envelop was mine. I figured that I was a goal sheet that I filled out earlier this year. This is a common exercise it which desired goals for a designated time frame are written down, placed in a sealed, stamped envelop and addressed to the person writing these goals. It is then given to someone else to hold and to mail at some time in the future. (This is a great exercise that helps one to be reminded of goals set and to appreciate the progress made.) Oh well, back to my mail, since I assumed that it was a goal sheet and set it aside for another time when I would have quiet time to review.

It sat for approx 2 weeks. When I opened it, this is what I read:
Dear Elizabeth, my beloved, delightful, blessed child,
I am providing all that you desire and more. Simply ask.
I love you even before you knew you.
You are so wonderfully spreading the truth at workshops, trainings and all places that need your gifts of truth, laughter and music.
All the doors that you thought were previously closed are open wide to provide you with all prosperity.
You no longer doubt or worry for you know that you are loved and cared for. Your talents are numerous and wanted by so many.
You are blessed greatly in all aspects including spiritual and financial. You are comfortable in your healthy body. Many gifts shower upon you and you have so many loving and beautiful relationships.
You are blessed and you are one of my most favorite children.
I am always with you.
Love, God
Too much? Maybe. But all that I know is that it raised my day! (Try it yourself. It may raise your day and you may find that you like it!)

Ways to Love Yourself

November 9, 2009 by trance setters

Stop Terrorizing Yourself
Negative thoughts scare you. What a cruel thing to do to yourself. Switch your thoughts to joyful, pleasant thoughts ASAP.

Champion Yourself
Learn how to inspire yourself emotionally. Embrace the help from authentic friends. It is courageous to ask for and accept help.

Embrace your Negatives
Thank your negatives because they helped you to survive. They also enable you to identify what you don’t want and therefore refocus you toward what you do desire. Now you’re finding better, more effective ways to create the joyful life that is yours.

Be Gentle, Kind and Patient
Be gentle with yourself. Be kind to yourself and treat yourself as though you are someone that you really love.

Mirror, Mirror
Who’s the fairest of them all? Look at yourself eyeball to eyeball often. Apologize to yourself. Forgive yourself. Reassure that you love yourself. Promise yourself that you will take good care of yourself today.

Appreciate your Body
After all your body has been through, it is still here unlike your “friends”. Take good care of it. Feed healthy food. Give it plenty of sunshine, water, movement and rest. And listen to it well. You’ll be surprised with what it tells you.

Cease Self Abuse
Criticism changes nothing. Refuse to criticize yourself. You are whole, complete and perfect just as you are today. Any changes due to criticism will be negative. When you appreciate yourself, changes are positive.

Nourish your Mind
Feed yourself positive, loving thoughts. When negative, self hating thoughts attempt to intrude, gently shift yourself to encouraging, empowering thoughts

Stop the WAH, WAH, WAH
Self pity is not attractive and it draws flies (esp. bar flies). You are a creative, resourceful individual. Begin to believe it!

Tempus Fugit “time flies”
Wonderful quote from Roman poet Virgil: “But meanwhile it flees: time flees irretrievably, while we wander around, prisoners of our love of detail”.
What are you waiting for? If you wait until all is aligned in your life before you make a move, you will find yourself in a box covered with dirt. Time a wasting. Move IT!

If you choose not to use these suggestions, nothing will change. Have fun and be on your way.

If you do choose to use these suggestions and nothing changes for you, your misery will be gladly refunded.

If you genuinely use these suggestions, you will be surprised how your life will improve…guaranteed!

Unnecessary Loss

August 22, 2009 by trance setters

I am angry, shocked, frustrated and more. Another life snuffed out, a young one this time. How can they not see? It is so obvious to me. Secrets, shame, embarrassment, blame, loneliness, the inability to get real, feel and be honest with self and others…The need to cover up our flaws and blame others for what is going on in our own lives, home. It is so easy to find other reasons for why this happens. The need or presence of drama and chaos in our life – believing this appears normal – the nauseous drive to “spread the story” – the sick thrill that comes with repeating to others the melodramatic happenings and getting their pity – “Oh you poor thing” – “You don’t deserve that” – “Isn’t that a shame” – life is short no matter how long we are on this planet – why then do we fritter our time and energy focused on this delusion? I am tired and have had my fill of drama and hysterics. It leads to nowhere that I want to be. Does that mean that there are losses along the way…yes and sad ones too – keeping the secrets is exhausting and not very rewarding either – I can say no more to this – all bets are off and the secrets are coming out – deal with it – this life is not a game – grow up, get help, get past it and move forward – the casualties of this internal war are senseless and too frequent – surrender – Control is an illusion – you know who you are - Princess Leia: The more you tighten your grip, Tarkin, the more star systems will slip through your fingers.

Hold onto your Gotchies

Here we go! And we’re off on an exciting ride. Down the first hill, up the next and down another. Traveling at rollercoaster speed. Now round the bend & so on. My first blog on my blog. (redundant?!) YIKES! Er…I mean Hooray! I am literally tickled pink to begin this next phase of my professional growth.

This weekend I have been inspired by numerous professional hypnotists at the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) Convention in Marlborough, MA. WHAT A HOOT! It was an exciting, motivational, awe-filled, spiritual and enlightening experience.

Some of the fellow hypnotists that influenced me were: Elsom Eldridge, Wil Horton, Charlie Curtis, Tim Nicoli, Dan LaRosa, Jerry Valley, Tommy Vee, Jacob Bimblich, Rick Saruna, Tim Shurr and of course Dr. Dwight Damon. (eh-scuse for anyone that I unintentionally overlooked)

However the impetus to begin this adventure belongs to  Paul Ramsay. Thanks, Paul, for the information and the spark that lit the charge! Kudos!

In the not so distant future, I will be sharing my story which is beyong belief. I trust that you will be able to identify with it in some respects, or not but it is still captivating.

So keep an eye on this blog as it will help to transform your thinking and enhance your life as it has mine!

Toodles!
